AIRCRAFT ENGINE WORKSHOP SUPPORT
We are currently recruiting for a permanent position in the Cleaning Bay of our modern workshop. You will be a vital part of the maintenance and repair process, ensuring the engine parts are cleaned and treated to the highest standard. You will receive comprehensive training which builds on your previous knowledge and experience. In your daily work you will pay close attention to safety and quality, this includes for example daily inspections of your work area and equipment as well as following the specific H&S guidelines.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
After completing your induction training you will work at a designated workstation within our workshop.
Cleaning engine parts as per process under the instruction of Production Leaders and Lead Hands
Using our computer system to document and record your work
Ensuring that your work meets all health and safety requirements
ABOUT YOU
Able to comply with a strong safety and quality culture
Able to work in processes and follow instructions
Have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication skills and able to work in a team
Flexible mindset and willingness to learn and develop
Good computer literacy, such as MS Office
Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
HOURS OF WORK
In this full-time position you will work in a fortnightly rotating shift pattern. Availability to work overtime (sometimes on short notice) is preferred. Overtime is compensated accordingly.
