Job Description

Located in South Waikato, we are looking for an experienced Export /Logistics coordinator to join our clients team on a 3-6 month contract.

Key areas of responsibility will include:
Receive, acknowledge and input customer orders and sample shipments
Reviewing and scheduling orders with freight forwarders
Liaising internally to facilitate the loading and delivery of orders
Arranging Customs Export Delivery Orders, Bills of Lading and other certificates
Freight Cost reporting
In addition to the above, you will also be looking after the accounts receivable for export customers, issuing certificates and compiling relevant documents to send to customers.

To be considered for this role you will offer:
3 years shipping / freight experience in similar position
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders
Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in fast-paced environment
Demonstrated adaptability to work to changing deadlines
Intermediate proficiency with the MS Office Suite
Previous experience using Prodoc & Sage 300 systems would be advantageous, however is not essential.
