National Manager, Tours Charters and Intercity
Job Description
The Opportunity;
We are recruiting for a National Manager Tours Charters & Intercity to join Ritchies, based in Auckland, at our Head Office in Swanson, reporting to the Operations Director.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, operational efficiency and business growth in the Tours, Charters & Intercity operation, as well as providing leadership to the Tours and Coaches team so that they are both engaged and high performing.
This is an important opportunity for an individual that value implementation and maintaining structured management and operations systems across all areas of customer service & operations. As well as being responsible for TCI expenditure and budget requirements and working with our Commercial team to develop and maintain systematic pricing protocols for all areas of TCIS.
You will actively manage synergies and coordinate with depot-based resources which support TCI and work with urban/school operations to ensure efficiency and minimal impact. This will involve proactively sharing information on fleet availability to depot managers to enable maximum fleet utilisation.

About You;
You’re a people leader that has excellent communication and relationship management skills, coupled with your strong commercial acumen you can prove that you have strong operational management experience.
You pride yourself on your eye for detail and your time management skills and ability to pick up tech systems quickly and correctly. You will continually explore ways to enhance your own and team’s way of working for the benefit of the business.
You’re able to manage multiple priorities, and analyse data to increase business operational efficiency.
Your Skills;
Proven operational experience
Minimum clean and full C1 NZ license
Excellent problem solving ability
Ideally a tertiary qualification in business or similar
Strong communicator
Great business acumen
Interest in public transport
Health and safety savvy
