We're on the hunt for a Customer Service and Retail Assistant / Kaiāwhina Kiritaki me te Hokohoko - a helpful, friendly person who doesn't mind pitching in to get the job done. Our world-class Astronomy Centre on Takapō lakefront brings to life the science of stars and Tātai aroraki (Māori astronomy) through an immersive and engaging international experience. This experience is a world-first and compliments the range of outdoor experiences that we currently offer to our domestic and international visitors to the region.
Our purpose is to make the connection - with our customers, through our people, to our place and to Ngāi Tahu.

A little bit about you
We're after someone who:
Dazzle our manuhiri from around the globe
Can blow us away with their previous customer service experience
Works well in a team
Previous clothing retail experience (preferred)
Is eager to learn and correctly pronounce reo Māori names and terms
Stays cool under pressure
Can multi-task
Can work night-time shifts (finish 2am) on weekdays, weekends and public holidays
Anything could happen in a day - and we need someone who isn't afraid of a long and varied to-do list!
