We are seeking a talented Product Data Management Specialist to support a world class maritime and reconnaissance aircraft, the P-8A Poseidon. The role will be based at RNZAF Base Ohakea, New Zealand.

Responsibilities
Perform Data Management activities as part of an overall project plan.
Co-ordinate the flow of correspondence, project-related data and library documentation within the P-8A Program (NZ), and between internal and external agencies.
Control data dispatch, packaging, protection and acknowledgement of receipt for Government Furnished (GF) system, Classified Data, Archived Data and documentation.
Manage aircraft health and usage monitoring data
Contribute to the development and implementation of data management plans, standards, processes, systems and tools.
Effectively interface with our internal and external customers to support the operation of the platform.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to work independently from time to time, communicate with purpose into the Boeing P-8A Program (NZ) team and with our customer, and effectively coordinate the timely delivery of key documentation to the NZDF and the P-8A Operator, 5 SQN.

Experience/Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a related industry
Experience using Product Lifecycle Management system, electronic document management system, or similar

Applicants must be New Zealand Citizens to meet New Zealand Defence security requirements.
