In this role you are responsible for the safe and accurate stowage of container cargo on board vessels at the container terminal. We require motivated, energetic staff who are safety conscious to join our team.
For this position you need to be physically fit as the primary duties involve manual labour, working on the wharves and on-board vessels to assist with loading and securing containers by lashing and unlashing containers on vessel decks.
Working outside in all weathers is also part of the job, so you need to be comfortable in an outdoor environment as well as constantly working at heights.
As vessels can arrive at any time of the day or night flexibility to work a variety of shifts over a 24/7 week is a requirement. On offer is permanent employment with competitive pay rates and a guaranteed minimum number of hours.
