Job Description
Remarkable People are seeking a skilled Class 4 Driver with a WTR (Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers) Endorsement to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a quarry environment, and operating a variety of heavy machinery including bulldozers, water carts, front-end loaders, and dump trucks. This role requires versatility and a hands-on approach, as you will be involved in a range of duties across our operations. Job Title: Class 4 Driver with WTR Endorsement Location: Ngāruawāhia Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate Class 4 vehicles and heavy machinery (bulldozer, water cart, front-end loader, dump truck) within the quarry.
Perform daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance on machinery.
Assist in the movement and loading of materials in compliance with safety standards.
Work on various tasks within the quarry, including excavation, material handling, and site clean-up.
Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Contribute to a collaborative team environment and assist in different roles as needed.
Requirements:
Valid Class 4 Driver’s License with WTR Endorsement.
Proven experience in a quarry setting operating bulldozers, water carts, front-end loaders, and dump trucks.
Strong understanding of safety protocols in a quarry or similar environment.
Ability to work independently and take initiative on various tasks.
Flexibility to perform multiple roles and adapt to changing needs on site.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork.
